Last Thursday, Andy joined host Jackie DeAngelis (in for Liz MacDonald) along with Rep. Guy Reschenthaler to discuss energy policy in the U.S. The three analyzed the irony in how President Biden is asking oil companies to increase production/refining, but he’s also boldly committed to destroying the fossil fuel sector, so Biden is essentially saying, “I’m going to destroy your business but in the meantime I want you to invest in your business.” Also discussed was the massive political shift in Pennsylvania and how it is shedding new light on the importance the energy industry plays on the state’s economy.
